Direct cremation for when a funeral service / ceremony is not required
The provision of Funeral Directors Services:
- Collection of your loved one within a 20 mile radius day or night
- A designated Funeral Director / Arranger to personally oversee the funeral arrangements and to provide support
- Attending to all necessary arrangements during normal office hours with access to 24 hour professional advice
- Provision of simple coffin suitable for cremation – closed coffin
- Provision of a suitable vehicle for transfer to Crematorium at a time and date of our choosing
Disbursements included:
- Unattended Cremation Fee
- Scattering of ashes at Crematorium
Cost of Direct Cremation £1495.00
The above price excludes the following:
- Doctors’ fees – as at today’s date there is only one fee payable of – £82.00
- Removal of pacemaker if required – £95.00
- Collection and delivery of ashes – within a 20 mile radius free of charge.
Additional mileage charged at £1.50 per mile.
Please note the following restrictions:
- The funeral director chooses the date and time of the funeral and location of Crematorium
- No mourners are able to attend the cremation
- No additional services or disbursements can be added
- No use of the chapel of rest
